NUM is an AI travel concierge. You chat with us on LINE, WhatsApp, and similar messaging apps, and we recommend and help you book local businesses. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. It applies to travelers who chat with NUM, business owners in our directory, and visitors to itsnum.com.
Since the NUM app launched we also handle the following. It is listed separately because it is newer, and because some of it is more sensitive than a chat message.
We never see your card number. Payments happen on our payment provider's own hosted page; we receive a confirmation and a reference, never the digits. Nobody at NUM can read a card number because we never hold one.
We do not record audio in the background, we do not track your location when the app is closed, and we do not read your contacts unless you explicitly pick someone to share with.
We use your information to answer your messages, make recommendations, and arrange bookings; to send you booking confirmations and, after a completed booking, a short message asking how it went; to keep the service safe and prevent abuse; and to improve NUM using aggregated, de-identified statistics — categories, counts, and trends, not the content of your conversations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your conversations for third-party advertising.
Your messages to NUM are processed by artificial-intelligence systems to understand your request and compose a reply. AI processing happens on infrastructure providers acting under contract with us. AI replies can contain mistakes — please double-check important details like opening hours and prices with the business.
Our map and directory of local businesses is built from public sources — OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) and the Google Places API — plus corrections from our verification team and from business owners themselves. If a listing is about your business, you may claim it, correct it, or have it removed: message us on LINE (@799pyrus), reply to any email from us, or email the address below. Replying "REMOVE" to an invitation email both stops emails and delists your business.
We may send a one-time invitation to businesses whose contact details are publicly listed, inviting them to claim their listing. We honor opt-outs immediately and permanently.
To serve you like a real concierge, NUM keeps a small preference profile per guest — things like the area you're staying in, party size, dietary preference, and interests you've mentioned. We deliberately exclude sensitive categories (health conditions, religion, politics, ID or payment numbers) from this profile even if mentioned in chat. Text FORGET to NUM at any time and your profile is erased instantly — the erasure itself is recorded in our audit log. Profiles of guests inactive for 12 months are erased automatically. Other personal information is kept only as long as needed for bookings, safety, dispute resolution, and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified.
Where we offer NUM by SMS text message, this section applies in addition to the rest of this policy. It describes what we send, how you consent, and how you stop.
Customer-care and transactional messages only: replies to what you ask your concierge, and updates about arrangements you asked us to make — a table, a driver, a tour, a change to a booking. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not send third-party content. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You give consent by entering your own mobile number on our sign-up page at itsnum.com/sms and ticking the consent box — it is never pre-ticked, never bundled with anything else, and consent is not a condition of any purchase. You also opt in by texting our number first. We never message a number we did not receive direct consent from, and we never buy, rent, or import phone lists.
Reply STOP (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT) at any time. We send one confirmation and nothing after that — immediately and permanently. Reply HELP for support contact details, or reach us any time at info@5arz.com.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services for the messaging program — such as our cloud, AI, and messaging infrastructure providers — is permitted so they can deliver the service on our behalf under contract. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your mobile number, your consent record (when and how you opted in), and the messages exchanged with your concierge, handled as described elsewhere in this policy. Text FORGET to erase your preference profile instantly, or contact us to request deletion of your data. Opt-out records are retained so we can honor your opt-out permanently.
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) — and, where it applies to you, the GDPR and similar laws — you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, a copy of data you provided, and to object to or restrict certain processing, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact us using the details below; we respond within the time the law requires. You may also lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) or your local authority.
NUM is operated by 5arz, and you can verify your identity by linking the 5arz account you already have. When you do, you sign in through Google — we never see or store a password. We check that sign-in with Google directly, then look for a matching verified 5arz account.
What crosses between the two: your Google account identifier and email, and from 5arz the fact that you are verified, when, and in which country. Your 5arz work history, earnings and payout details are not shared with NUM.
Linking is optional and one-to-one — a 5arz identity can be linked to a single NUM account. Verifying your identity this way does not verify your phone number; those are separate claims and we show them separately.
We use encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and the sealed-conversation design described above. Our infrastructure providers may process data outside Thailand; where they do, we rely on safeguards recognized under the PDPA and GDPR.
NUM is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age your local law sets). If you believe a child has used NUM, contact us and we will delete the data.
