Tomorrowland and EDC Thailand on one trip: the Double Drop guide

October 25, 2026

For the first time, two of the world’s biggest dance festivals land in Thailand one week apart. Tomorrowland Thailand 2026 takes over Wisdom Valley, near Pattaya, on 11–13 December 2026. Exactly one week later, EDC Thailand 2026 lights up Rhythm Park in Phuket on 18–20 December 2026. If you are flying across the world for one, the other is a short flight away.

The plan in one line

Land in Bangkok, spend four nights in Pattaya for Tomorrowland, take a slow week by the sea, then four nights in Phuket for EDC. The whole plan, day by day, is on the Double Drop page.

Getting between them

Pattaya and Phuket are on opposite coasts, so you fly. U-Tapao is the closest airport to Pattaya; Bangkok has many more flights. Book this leg as soon as you hold both passes: tens of thousands of people are planning some version of the same trip.

The week in between

This is the best part. Sleep. Eat everything. Take the ferry to Koh Larn from Pattaya, or head to Phuket early for Phang Nga Bay and Phi Phi. Book a massage for the day after each festival.

Know before you go

  • Both festivals are 20 and over. Bring your passport: EDC refuses photocopies and digital IDs.
  • Tomorrowland has no camping, so everyone stays in Pattaya. Your bracelet is your ticket.
  • Tomorrowland is sold out. Trust only the official waiting list: “spare passes” on social media are almost always scams.
  • Leaving either festival means no way back in that night.
  • December is the cool, dry season, but Phuket nights stay warm and humid. Water, shade and rest between sets.
  • Thai drug laws are strict and festival entry is searched. Don’t risk the trip.
