Iceland eSIM on Nova: questions
Does a NUM Iceland eSIM use Nova?
6 of the Iceland plans in the shop on 4 Nov 2026 listed Nova; others use Síminn. Each plan lists its networks before you pay.
How much is a Iceland eSIM on Nova?
On 4 Nov 2026, from $1.09 (1 GB, valid 7 days). The price on the pay button is the price you pay.
Can I choose Nova over another network?
Pick a plan that lists Nova. Your phone joins Nova when it is in range; with data roaming on, it can also use the plan’s other listed networks.
Will I get a Nova phone number?
No. It’s a data-only eSIM that runs on the network; your home number stays on your phone for calls and codes.
Will it work on my phone?
Dial *#06# on the phone you’re taking. If you see an EID number, it takes an eSIM. Every iPhone from the XR and XS on does, and the SE from 2020, as do Google Pixel 3 and later and Samsung Galaxy S20 and later. The phone must be carrier-unlocked. Not sure? Text PHONE and your model and we’ll check.
When do I install it?
At home, on wifi, before you fly. Then switch it on when you land. Tell us your landing day and we text you the switch-on steps that morning.
