Num Tab

Turn every table into a checkout.

Stick a code on each table. Guests scan it, split the bill and pay from their own phone. The money reaches you the same night.

The kit

Ten codes. Twenty dollars.

Enough for a small restaurant on the first night, and cheap enough that you do not have to think about it.

  • Ten adhesive codes. NFC and QR on the same face, so every phone works.
  • A counter card so walk-ins know they can find you on Num.
  • Your console set up, with every code labelled to a table before it arrives.
  • Your listing on Num, free, so guests searching the area find you.

Why it costs anything at all

A free kit sits in a drawer. A kit you paid for goes on the tables tonight. Twenty dollars is the smallest number that gets the codes out of the box.

What it does not cost

Nothing per month, nothing to list, nothing to be found. You pay when a guest pays, and not before.

You still take cash

This is for the table that wants to split four ways, and the guest who walked in with no baht on them. Everything else carries on exactly as it does now.

You are not buying a card machine. You are buying ten stickers.

How it works

Two sides. Neither one is complicated.

For your guest

1

They scan the code

Camera or a tap. Every code is NFC and QR on the same face, so it works on any phone.

2

Their tab opens

Venue, table, running total, and everyone else sitting with them. No app needed to join.

3

They pay their part

All of it, an even split, or whatever they choose. PromptPay or card, on their own phone.

For you

1

Stick the codes on

Label them in your console once. Table 1 to 8, the bar, the terrace. Takes a few minutes.

2

Type the total

That is the whole operation. No POS to connect, no terminal to buy, no float to count.

3

Get paid

Your phone tells you the moment a table settles. The money follows the same night.

Group pay

Split the bill without the maths.

Everyone at the table scans the same code. The tab knows who is on it, what is left and who has already paid. Nobody works out a share on a napkin, and nobody chases anyone afterwards.

One person covers it

The most common tab. One scan, one payment, done.

Split it evenly

Four people, four scans. The tab divides itself and shows what is still outstanding.

Throw in an amount

Rounds at a bar. Anyone adds what they want and the balance updates live.

Who scans it

The people already on Num.

Travellers ask Num where to eat and walk in with it already open. Your code is the last thing they tap.

Getting paid

In your account tonight, not next week.

Guests pay the way they already pay in Thailand. You get it the way you already get it.

PromptPay, in seconds

The payout detail is a phone number. Nothing to open, nothing to install, nothing to reconcile.

Told by message

Table 7 paid. The amount, the fee and what is landing, in a message you can show your staff.

You never touch a card

Payment happens on the processor's own page. Card details never reach your staff, your phone or us.

Not only tables

Anywhere someone owes you money.

Restaurants and bars

One code per table. The bill is settled before anyone finds a waiter.

Tuk-tuks and taxis

One sticker on the windscreen. No terminal, no float, no hunting for change.

Boats and day tours

A deposit at the desk is the same object as a tab. The code takes it.

Cafés and clubs

Anywhere a guest currently has to walk to a counter to hand over money.

The bill is the introduction.

Guests who scan to pay leave with a concierge that knows your venue. The next time they are hungry, you are already in the thread.
