Cyprus is in the EU but not yet in Schengen: Cyprus days do not count toward the Schengen 90/180 limit and vice versa. EES does not operate in Cyprus. Passport must be issued within the last 10 years and valid 3 months after departure. Enter only through the Republic's legal points of entry (Larnaca or Paphos airports; Larnaca, Limassol, Latsi or Paphos ports): arriving via the north (e.g. Ercan) counts as illegal entry. Time spent in the north counts toward the 90 days.
