Worth knowing

The details for an Irish passport.

Irish DFA (updated 28 Aug 2026, still current 11 Oct 2026): visitors of all ages from visa-exempt countries, including Ireland, must hold a valid ETA-IL; it costs ILS 25, allows multiple entries and is valid up to two years; a new passport, name, gender or citizenship change needs a new ETA-IL. Stays up to 90 days (Israeli embassy). Ben Gurion issues an entry card instead of a passport stamp; keep it until departure. DFA advises against all but essential travel to Israel.

FCDO: passport expiry date at least 90 days after the date you arrive. US State Dept: valid for 90 days at the time of entry. (Older guidance and some airlines use 6 months - check with your airline.) Netherlands: at least 3 months on arrival.
