Worth knowing

The details for a Mexican passport.

No visa for tourism, family visits or business meetings; no paid work. Days spent anywhere in the Schengen area count toward the 90. EES biometric registration on first entry. ETIAS is not yet operating (official EU site: not in operation, no applications collected; the 'last quarter of 2026' target was dropped in July 2026; no start date as of 10 Oct 2026). When it launches it will cost EUR 20 (ages 18-70), last 3 years or until passport expiry, with at least a 6-month transition period. Ignore sites selling ETIAS now.

Your passport

How long it must be valid.

Passport must have been issued less than 10 years before the date you arrive and must be valid for at least 3 months after the date you plan to leave the Schengen area. Lost/stolen-reported passports are refused. EU/EEA/Swiss citizens can use a valid national ID card instead.
