Worth knowing

The details for a Thai passport.

On the EU common visa list (Reg. 2018/1806, Annex I, consolidated 30 Dec 2025), which Cyprus applies: a visa is required. Holders of a valid double- or multiple-entry Schengen visa, a Bulgarian, Croatian or Romanian national visa, or a residence permit of a Schengen state, Bulgaria, Croatia or Romania do not need a Cypriot short-stay visa for up to 90 days in any 180 (Cyprus High Commission, London). Cyprus is in the EU but not yet in Schengen: Cyprus days do not count toward the Schengen 90/180 limit and vice versa. EES does not operate in Cyprus. Passport must be issued within the last 10 years and valid 3 months after departure. Enter only through the Republic's legal points of entry (Larnaca or Paphos airports; Larnaca, Limassol, Latsi or Paphos ports): arriving via the north (e.g. Ercan) counts as illegal entry. Time spent in the north counts toward the 90 days.
