Language matters more than lineage
Almost everything at Paris meditation centers is taught in French, and guided meditation in a language you half follow is harder than silence. Before you go, look for a séance découverte, an introductory session, and ask whether any class runs en anglais. Silent sitting sessions are the exception, because nobody is talking: if your French is weak, choose an open sitting over a guided class. Buddhist centers here usually charge per class or ask for a donation, and Brahma Kumaris courses are free.
