The rest of the trip for a Saudi passport, from the arrival form to customs and travelling with children: Mexico entry requirements.
The details for a Saudi passport.
Visa required: not on the Mexican Consular Section in London's 2026 list of visa-exempt nationalities, and not one of the SAE electronic-authorization nationalities (Brazil, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine; Mexican Embassy in Italy, Feb 2026). Visa NOT needed if you hold a valid visa from the US, Canada, UK, Japan or a Schengen country, or permanent residence in those or in Chile, Colombia or Peru (also APEC Business Travel Card for business by air). Only visas in the passport or permanent-resident cards count (US EAD, I-797A, advance parole, I-20, DS-2019 are not accepted). Visa-required nationals also need a visa just to transit a Mexican airport (since 22 Oct 2023). Visas are issued by appointment only; the visitor visa fee at the Washington consulate is USD 56 (2026), charged in local currency elsewhere. The Ley Federal de Derechos (2026 text) sets the ordinary visa fee at MXN 990.79 (art. 22-III-d).
How long it must be valid.
Mexico's own rule: the passport must be valid for the whole trip (Embassy of Mexico in the US, page updated 24 Jul 2026), and the US State Dept says valid at the time of entry. Airlines may apply a 6-month rule, and the Mexican Embassy in the UK recommends 180 days (the longest tourist stay). Ireland's DFA advises 6 months beyond your last day in Mexico. Travel with 6 months to be safe. Passport cards are accepted only at land and sea crossings, not for flights.
