Worth knowing

The details for a French passport.

Unilateral exemption under Government Resolution 44/NQ-CP (7 Mar 2025): 45 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport type and purpose, valid 15 Mar 2025 - 14 Mar 2028 (may be extended). For longer stays get the 90-day e-Visa before travel.

Your passport

How long it must be valid.

At least 6 months remaining from the date of arrival (FCDO, US State Dept); Canada says 6 months beyond your expected departure, so allow for that. Enter and exit on the same passport; damaged passports have led to refused entry or exit. Taiwan MOFA notes a visa's validity must end at least 30 days before the passport expires.
