Visa-free for 14 days only if you hold a valid visa or residence permit for the US, Canada, Australia, UK, a Schengen country or Japan, or are a GCC resident; your spouse and children qualify too (Omani MFA Group 2, page updated 22 Sep 2026; same conditions: 6 months' passport, return ticket, hotel, insurance, funds). Otherwise apply for an ROP eVisa before travel. Whether Indian nationals can use the unsponsored tourist eVisa, and its fee, could not be read on the ROP portal (JavaScript only).

- 2025-11-01 — Turkish ordinary-passport holders became visa-exempt in Oman: up to 30 days per visit and 90 days in any 180 (joint statement; announced by Türkiye's MFA on 22 Dec 2025).
- 2025-07-18 — Russia-Oman mutual visa exemption reported in force (30 days per visit). Reported by Muscat Daily and cited on Wikipedia; not confirmed on an Omani government page. Russia also appears on the Omani MFA's 14-day list.
