Look for 字幕 on the timetable, not 吹替

Japan subtitles far more than it dubs. On a cinema timetable, 字幕 (jimaku) means the original soundtrack with Japanese subtitles, and 吹替 (fukikae) means dubbed into Japanese. Big Hollywood releases usually get both, and the dubbed versions take over the daytime slots in school holidays, so check the label before you pay. Children's animation is the exception, often shown mostly dubbed. The harder thing is the other direction: Japanese films with English subtitles are rare, and turn up only in special screenings or festival runs.
