Long-distance coaches rarely leave from Centraal
In Amsterdam, local GVB buses, regional buses and international coaches use different places. Regional buses to the north go from the IJ side of Centraal or from Noord metro station. International coaches such as FlixBus usually stop at stations on the edge of the city, such as Sloterdijk, rather than at Centraal; the exact stop is printed on your ticket and changes, so trust the ticket, not a guess.
