A traveler asks NUM where to eat tonight, where to get a massage, who can fix a surfboard. NUM answers with real places and books one. Being listed is how you are in that answer.
Most places are already on NUM. Find yours to update it, or add it if it's missing. 2.7M+ places in the directory.
Listing is free and needs no account. Taking bookings is a separate sign-up

Search your city and pick your business to update its details. If NUM doesn't hold it yet, add it: name, address, phone, website, hours.
A new place goes live once NUM finds its name on the home page of the business's own website (and its phone number, if you give one) and you confirm from an email address at that website. Otherwise, and for every change to a listing already on NUM, a person checks it first, usually within 2 working days. That check is why travelers can trust a listing on NUM.
Listing needs no account. If you want booking requests by text, email or your own booking system, and a dashboard, sign up separately. It's optional.
Every listing is checked before it goes live, and nobody can pay to be recommended. Sign up for bookings and yours carries the Claimed badge in every answer.
Someone types “somewhere quiet for dinner near the old town” and gets an answer, then a booking. Being listed makes you part of that answer.
NUM describes you to travelers in their own language — Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish and many more — at 3 a.m. if that's when they ask.
You pay only when a guest NUM sent you actually comes.
No. Listing is free, with no card, no monthly fee and no account.
No. You fill in the public details and NUM checks them. An account is only for taking bookings, which is a separate, optional sign-up.
Yes. Choose “Add your business”, tell us where you are, and add your own website and an email address at it if you have them. If your website's home page shows your business, NUM emails that address a link, and your listing goes live when you confirm. Otherwise a person checks it first, usually within 2 working days.
For a new place, NUM reads the home page of your own website and looks for your business name in its title or its business details, and your phone number in a call link or those details if you gave one. A Facebook, LINE, Google or booking-site page can't confirm it, because anyone can make one. If that matches, the place is in your city and nothing like it is on NUM yet, NUM emails a one-time link to the address you gave, if it's at your website's domain (like you@yourplace.com). Your listing goes live when you open it within 48 hours and press Confirm. It shows every detail that will be published first, and if anything is wrong you can discard it. If anything doesn't match, a person checks it, usually within 2 working days. Every change to a listing already on NUM is checked by a person before it shows.
You can still suggest a change: on a listing its owner has claimed, a person looks at it first, and nothing moves silently. To take the listing over, use the separate sign-up. Its code only goes to the contact published for the business, and the current owner is told.
Yes. Anything submitted on your behalf is checked the same way before a traveler sees it, and held for a person when it can't be confirmed. See NUM for AI agents.
